Am \u00eencheiat primul semestru din clasa a IXa cu media glorioas\u0103 de 4 la englez\u0103; asta venind dup\u0103 al\u0163i 8 ani cu medii mari de 9 \u015fi 10 &#8230; mnoa, v\u0103 \u00eenchipui\u0163i cam ce du\u015f rece mi-a tras. Asta a fost media la materia &#8220;principal\u0103&#8221; de englez\u0103 &#8211; unde bibileam gramatic\u0103 \u015fi compuneri \u015fi \u00een general trebuia s\u0103 ob\u0163inem un produs finit acceptabil. Mai aveam o materie, nu-i re\u0163in numele &#8211; aici \u00een principal disecam texte, construiam vocabular, exersam traduceri, uneori mai \u0163ineam c\u00e2te un mini-speech; nici la aia n-am ob\u0163inut mai mult de 5-6 \u00een prima faz\u0103. Anume am observat c\u0103 aveam \u00een bibliotec\u0103 <span style=\"color: #800000;\">A Concise English Grammar<\/span> de George Gruia (ed. Grupus, 1998). Mie \u00een general\u0103 \u00eemi pl\u0103cuse gramatica limbii rom\u00e2ne, \u015ftiam s\u0103 analizez f\u0103r\u0103 probleme sintaxa frazei \u015fi alte delicatese de-astea. \u015ei v\u0103d brusc la cuprinsul c\u0103r\u0163ii c\u0103 uite, e clasificat\u0103 \u015fi pe morfologie \u015fi pe sintax\u0103; la morfologie are despre pluralul substantivelor simple \u015fi compuse, depre cazurile substantivelor, declinare, formare, acordul adjectivului, compara\u0163ia lui, timpurile verbale, tipul \u015fi declinarea pronumelor, adverbe &#8211; tot tac\u00e2mul pe scurt; sintaxa con\u0163ine \u015fi ea explica\u0163ii despre complemente, subiect, predicat, tipuri de propozi\u0163ii \u00een fraz\u0103, din nou o halc\u0103 enorm\u0103 de informa\u0163ie LOGIC\u0102.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nu pot spune c-am tocit peste var\u0103 cartea aia, sau c\u0103 m\u0103car am re\u0163inut multe din ea. De ce n-am \u00eenv\u0103\u0163at \u00een 12 ani francez\u0103? \u015ei acolo s-a predat gramatic\u0103, desigur &#8211; <em>dar pe modelul cretin de 2 ore-pe-s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2n\u0103<\/em>. \u00cen timpul respectiv nu ai timp de mare lucru, \u015fi s\u0103 plasezi convenabil sarcina pe umerii elevului &#8211; anume de a compensa prin munc\u0103 individual\u0103 \u015fi exerci\u0163iu acas\u0103 este un lucru cretin prin inutilitatea lui. Dac\u0103 ar fi condi\u0163iile de acum 30 de ani \u015fi o tem\u0103 kilometric\u0103 era musai de f\u0103cut (pentru c\u0103 altfel erai b\u0103tut cu cureaua) atunci poate ar fi func\u0163ionat modelul.
